Our Thanks To Metro Detroit Area Farms
We thank our area farms and over 546 dedicated volunteers who joined the Forgotten Harvest 2011 Fall Harvest and helped feed Metro Detroit's hungry
546 volunteers and seven major area farms helped Forgotten Harvest provide 115,000 pounds of fresh produce this fall. Forgotten Harvest joins Feeding America, the Howard G. Buffet Foundation and the Farmers Union in their plea to farmers to help us feed the hungry.
Thanks to Forgotten Harvest volunteers and these wonderful Metro Detroit farms who donated crops to help us harvest fresh, nutritious food for those in need.
