$1 Provides Nearly 5 Meals This Holiday Season

A CHALLENGE GRANT MULTIPLIES YOUR GIFT

Forgotten Harvest has been awarded an Emergency Food and Shelter Challenge Grant from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan with support from the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation. With these additional funds, every $1 contributed means we will provide nearly 8 meals, an increase over our typical ratio of $1 to provide 5 meals. Respond quickly so your gift may be eligible for this match.

DESPERATE BUT SOLVABLE

663,000 people lack adequate food in Metro Detroit. The good news is that hunger is a problem that can be solved. There is enough food to meet the needs of those who are hurting. But 25% of all food produced is thrown away and never consumed. The key is to rescue wasted food and donate it to partners who will share it with those who are hungry. That is the powerful mission of Forgotten Harvest.

And we depend on you to make our work possible. Please donate now and help a neighbor in need.
